What has been the most significant change within your pharmacy over the past five years, and how has it helped you serve your patients better?
The most significant change has been moving into our new location. It has given us a lot more space and the capability to expand the services we offer to our patients. The new location has allowed us to become more of a full-service pharmacy, catering to many different levels of our patients’ healthcare needs.
What is your favorite thing about being a pharmacist?
My favorite thing about being a pharmacist is the ability to help my community through many different means. Not only are we specially trained in medicine, but we also have additional training which allows us to help our patients across all areas of healthcare. Being the most accessible healthcare professional to our patients gives us the unique ability to carry out the good we have been trained to do.
What do you think your patients love most about your pharmacy?
Our patients love our personalized customer service. With the majority of owners having been born and raised in the local community, we know exactly where our patients are coming from and can relate to their problems and experiences.
What are your favorite ways to get involved with your community?
Hands down, our favorite way to get involved with our community is through hosting events at the pharmacy. We invite local doctors, small businesses, and healthcare organizations from across the area to come to interact with our patients right in the pharmacy.
What excites you most about the future of independent pharmacy?
The endless possibilities we have to help our patients and coming up with the means to do so. All it takes is some imagination.
What does Locally Loved mean to you?
Being Locally Loved means being the pharmacy our community thinks of FIRST when they are in need. To be able to actually deliver on the promise of “A Better Pharmacy Experience” each and every time a customer comes in contact with Mesilla Valley Pharmacy.
